CHRIS STAPLETON

Chris Stapleton is the founder and pastor of Family Church. Chris moved back to his hometown of Chattanooga with his wife Sonia and daughter Berkeley in 2012. His goal wasn’t to start another church where people are challenged to do better and try harder in order to secure God’s favor and blessing. His heart was to create a place where anyone and everyone who is exhausted with religion and tired of jumping through countless hoops can come and find rest for their souls. Chris is extremely down to earth, open and honest. He loves to take every chance that he can to help people experience God’s amazing grace and love, right where they are.

Chris and Sonia have been married for 25 years, and she helps lead worship on Sunday mornings. Their daughter Berkeley is 19 years old and is in nursing school at Chatt State. Berk volunteers every Sunday with our tech team as well as in our children’s ministry.
